Molton Brown cards are gift cards for buying products or services from our stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland. You can use them online with our UK and US websites or through our Customer Service team. Molton Brown cards can't be used at any Molton Brown counters in department stores.
They're identified by a unique 21 digit card number and 6 digit PIN found beneath the security panel on the back of the card. Don't forget to have both the card number and PIN close to hand when you're using your card online.
As soon as you begin using your Molton Brown card, it's considered the same as using cash and so credit will decrease as you spend.

Your Molton Brown card can be used for 24 months once you begin using it (although we know you might be tempted to spend it straight away). Any remaining balance on your card will be automatically cancelled after 24 months. If this happens, your card will no longer be valid and we won't be able to credit any remaining balance.***Back to top***
Good news - you can pop by any participating Molton Brown stores in the United States, UK and Republic of Ireland to pick up your Molton Brown card. Although there is a minimum activation of $10, you can add any amount you wish as long as it's above $10. Our cards can hold a maximum of $1,000.

When you buy your Molton Brown card in one of our participating stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland, it will be activated at the till point. If you buy your card online, it will arrive ready and raring to go; all you need to do is have your Molton Brown favourites picked out and ready to buy.***Back to top***
We strongly suggest that you register your Molton Brown card online. This will give you protection if your card becomes lost, stolen or damaged.
If your card is lost or stolen, give our Customer Helpline a call on toll free 1-866-933-2344, who are by the phones 24 hours a day, every day. If you'd prefer, email email@example.com for advice.
You can freeze your card online by logging into your Molton Brown card account. To do this, select 'Register Your Card' and type in your log-in details in the 'Existing Customer' fields. Freezing your card makes sure that it can't be used. It also triggers an automated email to let us know. We can arrange a replacement card with your remaining balance by courier within five working days to the card's registered address. This will render the old Molton Brown card null and void. We can only replace cards that have previously been registered with us or if you know the full card number.
Your replacement Molton Brown card will be sent with the balance at the time your Molton Brown card was deactivated. Sorry, we can't replace any balance that's lost because of fraudulent goings-on. You can keep track of your recent transactions or simply view your outstanding balance online. To get an update on your balance or check your transaction history, visit our Check Card Balance page.
Any transactions using your Molton Brown card will be shown straight away whether the transaction took place in one of our stores or online.
If you happen to be in one of our stores, simply ask one of our staff who can find out much is on your card (you might be pleasantly surprised).
When carrying out a balance enquiry online or instore, your outstanding balance will be shown in the currency of the respective country based on the relevant day's rate of exchange (www.oanda.com).
If you don't have enough money on your Molton Brown card to cover the cost of your online order we'll ask you to select an additional form of payment such as a credit or debit card.
If you've got multiple Molton Brown cards, you can transfer all available balances onto a single card, irrespective of the country where the card was bought. To do this, simply log into your online Molton Brown card account and select 'Balance Transfer'. You'll need to type in the 21 digit number from the reverse of your Molton Brown cards. By choosing to transfer a balance you'll be transferring the entire balance on the card.
Once the transfer is all done, it can't be reversed so the Molton Brown card that the balance has been transferred from will be rendered null and void.

If you're not entirely happy with an online purchase made using your Molton Brown card and you'd like to return it for an exchange (or refund where applicable), any money refunded will automatically be credited to the Molton Brown card the purchase was made on.*
If you require a partial refund where the original purchase was made using your Molton Brown card and another form of payment, any refund owed will be credited to your Molton Brown card in the first instance. If the total to be refunded is more than originally paid by your Molton Brown card, the remaining refund balance will be credited to the other method of payment you used.
* If you don't have your original Molton Brown card anymore, we'll create a shiny new one for you and any refund applicable will be added to it.
