Job Summary

The Digital 3rd Party Manager (3PM) is to play a key role in maintaining and managing the Molton Brown partner websites including international sites including but not limited to Japan, Turkey, UAE etc. Responsible for ensuring consistency and providing a strong one2one relationship with all wholesale partners including but not limited to JLP, Boots, House of Fraser Digital teams.

Key Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of all 3rd Party website content globally in order to ensure the brand’s positioning in each partner website.
  • Help drive the expansion and profitable growth of Molton Brown’s global digital business on 3rd party websites whilst ensuring Molton Brown’s own websites are not damaged or affected.
  • Management of all 3rd party websites transactional and non-transactional relationships.

Job Summary

The Digital Analyst (DA) is to play a key role in providing effective insightful, actionable and timely analysis and reporting in support of the Digital business, marketing and commercial initiatives. Pivotal to the Digital business is the continued upkeep of trading reports, the DA is responsible for the delivery of findings in clear, concise and easily digestible formats.

Key Overall Responsibilities

  • Define, propose, produce and maintain a suite of reports for measuring site performance; including and not limited to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports documenting Sales, Conversion, ATV, Traffic, customer journey, checkout funnel, visitor bounce and other metrics as well as useful insights and observations in a visual format.
  • Identifying consumer trends, analysing competitors and recommending improvements to online activities to ensure maximum ROI on digital spend.
  • Analyse all areas of website performance, work with designers, developers and Digital Managers to make necessary changes to the website based on the analysis. The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager (ADMM), is to play a key role working with internal teams and external agencies to deliver and improve the Molton brown digital marketing campaigns to achieve the overall digital acquisition and retention targets through supporting SEO, Affiliates, PPC, Content, Social etc.

Main Responsibilities:

Affiliates

  • Implement affiliate strategy to deliver growth in traffic, sales and key KPIs
  • Manage relationship with Affiliate agency to grow and nurture UK and US affiliate programmes meet targets and the Molton Brown programme is market leading
  • Maintain and grow relationships with top 10 affiliates and with 3rd party affiliate blogger agency to grow activities against brand and commercial targets
  • Work with affiliate agency to actively implement recruitment strategy
  • Manage/Coordinate the updating of affiliate content and creative banners by working with the Digital Art Worker and Digital design team
  • Manage order validations and ensure that all transaction queries are closed as soon as possible

SEO

  • Work with SEO agency to continually improve and optimise site for SEO and work with eCommerce team to implement this
  • Work with SEO agency to increase outreach and engagement, driving brand awareness and advocacy with support of DMA
  • Work with Digital Team to develop Content Marketing Strategy to drive new traffic and revenue acquisition as well as brand awareness

PPC

  • Work with external agency to assist with daily management of PPC accounts across platforms including but not limited to writing and approving ads, keywords, providing content etc.
  • Coordinate growth of PPC channel including but not limited through additional campaigns, site links messaging and PLAs

General

  • Assist Online Marketing Team to plan and execute all Online Marketing strategies and campaigns across our digital marketing platforms including Content, Social, SEO, Affiliate and campaigns

The SC will be expected to create engaging rich content and respond to social queries, complaints etc. in a timely manner as instructed and set by the Digital management team.

Key Overall Responsibilities

  • Social SLAs – including but not limited to responses time, monitoring etc.
  • Update all social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, Polyvore) with relevant and engaging content on a regular basis
  • 24hr, 365 day Social Support (shared with ADMM, DMA & DA). Fully respond to questions and queries with speed and good judgement. Escalate to internal partners when necessary (i.e. Customer Services, R&D, Legal etc)

Consumer insight – develop an intuitive understanding of target consumer attitudes, behaviours and needs, both now and in the future, to feed into decision making. Use the Kao Kaihatsu process to co-ordinate and track project approval and the launch process across the business. Responsibility includes commercial viability (COG/Price/Margin/Volume forecasting) and project management together with SCM and the creation of activation menu to support the launch and lifecycle

Ensure current assortment stays one step ahead of competitors as well as being relevant to consumer and customer through our key brand equities of colour, fragrance blend, exoticism and luxury

3- Category Operational Marketing

Be the brand guardian to ensure the business is presenting the brand correctly in all areas;

Keep the Director Global Brand Management informed of key drivers of portfolio performance, including financials marketing KPIs and competitor performance, use insights to suggest course correction plans as appropriate to ensure targets are met;

Suggest ways of better managing all elements of the Marketing Mix to maximise performance in market: product proposition, packaging, distribution (recommendations to sales team), price & promotions (w/ local marketing team), product quality and format;.

Work with the Creative Services in Global Marketing to ensure the local marketing have a toolkit of support items needed to sell the Molton Brown story and products successfully e.g. presentations, product information, and sales aids for trade….others that are consumer facing , shelf story etc.

Support markets (UK, US, Australia, GAS, Nordics) & trade channel needs (SAS, On line, Hotel, Travel retail)

4- Category activation through NPD-led events

Works alongside Director Global Brand Management on assigned NPD-led events in the marketing calendars to:

-Define ROI & recommended assortment for events responsibility

-Define event story-telling theme and drive event creative assets development accordingly.

- Coordinate the development and roll-out of the brand support package across channels and ensure the support materials support our brand positioning.

-Develop an operating framework, of fixed & flex asset elements, to assist the country Brand Managers in delivering their objectives & building brand equity.

-Effectively collaborate with other functions to ensure consistent consumer activation through every touch points (in store, PR, on line, CRM) & channels.

-Post-analysis of events commercial results against KPIs set & best practice building.

5- Measurement & KPIs

Responsible for a range of performance KPIs of assigned categories.

COG / Sales / Margin / Unit / ROI– forecast & achievement, on-time delivery on a product, brand, segment & category and channel basis.

Education and Experience

Minimum of five years’ experience preferably within a health & beauty, brand-driven business, at least four of which were spent in a head office product development role. Experience in a global business is an advantage
