Job: Contract Support Development Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

Location: Green Street, Elsenham

Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting and developing integrations between key internal and 3rd party systems. Liaising closely with internal business stakeholders, and 3rd party systems integrator to improve existing and assist with the new integrations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and support ecommerce integrations
  • Reconciling orders and payment on a daily basis in ATG, QuickBooks and BizTalk
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
  • Provided assistance and advise to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
  • Provide programming for in-house IT systems
  • Provide SQL administration in live and test environments
  • Document functional requirements and technical specifications
  • Conduct system objectives and modifications required to meet performance objective
  • Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input to project scope, deliverables, cost & time line estimates
  • Research/analyse business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions within business technology architecture
  • Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects
  • Work to identify ways in automating or improving current manual tasks through-out the business

 

Related Business/Technical Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in developing / implementing solutions to automate manual tasks.
  • An in-depth knowledge of developing with Microsoft SSIS
  • Experience support BizTalk 2006

 

Skills:

  • Experience of reporting, including report writing and database design and creation
  • Experience and ability to extraction of data from disparate system
  • Experience using Web service and SOA taxonomy understanding also required
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
  • A results orientated individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment

 

Education & experience:

  • In-depth experience in all phases of software development supported by a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • MCPDB (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer)
